CHAPTER 01 · DIFFERENT WORLDS
CHAPTER 01 · DIFFERENT WORLDS
Different Worlds. Same Mindset.
Different Worlds. Same Mindset.
My career began in hospitality before an ambition to work in finance took me into a very different environment.
Over the years, I worked across wealth management, global private banking and alternative investments, partnering with private clients, business owners and institutions before eventually moving into hedge funds.
The industries changed. The expectations changed. But the mindset stayed remarkably consistent: preparation, discipline, attention to detail and the ability to perform consistently over time.
Whatever I commit to, I believe in doing it well.
And eventually, I realised I approached life outside work in much the same way.

CHAPTER 02 · BEYOND WORK
CHAPTER 02 · BEYOND WORK
Movement keeps me grounded.
Movement keeps me grounded.
Outside work, movement has always been part of my life.
Cycling. Diving. Hiking. Strength and high-intensity training. Mobility. Yoga. Breathwork. Meditation. Sound baths.
Some push me physically. Others allow me to slow down, reset and pay closer attention to how I’m feeling.
They have taken me from mountains to open water, long rides to competition floors, and demanding training sessions to quieter moments of movement, breathing and stillness.
Different environments. Different intensities.
But the same underlying principles remain: discipline, consistency, awareness and the willingness to keep improving.
Over time, my definition of performance began to change.

CHAPTER 03 · THE TURNING POINT
CHAPTER 03 · THE TURNING POINT
Getting Older. Performing better.
Getting Older. Performing better.
I entered my adulthood in some of the best physical condition of my life.
Not because life became less demanding. If anything, the opposite happened.
Work brought frequent travel, changing schedules and long days. Maintaining my health and performance meant becoming increasingly intentional about how I trained, ate, slept and recovered.
For years, I had associated progress with doing more and pushing harder.
Eventually, I began to understand that this was only half the equation.
Recovery mattered just as much.

Pushing harder was only half the equation.
Pushing harder was only half the equation.
As travel became a bigger part of my work, recovery became something I approached much more deliberately.
I began exploring different practices and technologies and learned that each had its place.
Cold exposure, for example, is something I use selectively when the timing and circumstances make sense. Other practices can integrate more consistently into everyday life.
That distinction became important to me.
I wasn’t interested in doing everything simply because it was available.
I wanted to understand what belonged in my routine, when to use it and why.
Wellness became less about collecting practices and more about creating a system I could genuinely sustain.

CHAPTER 04 · THE BEGINNING OF APEXA
CHAPTER 04 · THE BEGINNING OF APEXA
Apexa grew from something I was already practicing intentionally.
Apexa grew from something I was already practicing intentionally.
My introduction to photobiomodulation came through a flatmate while I was living in Singapore. What began as a recommendation quickly became something I chose to explore more deliberately as part of my own recovery routine.
Recovery had already become an intentional part of how I approached training, performance and everyday life. Photobiomodulation naturally found its place alongside movement, mobility, breathwork and other practices I used consistently.
The more I learned about the category, the more I saw an opportunity to create something more considered, technically thoughtful, beautifully designed, transparent about the evidence, and easy to integrate into everyday life.
That became Apexa.
Beginning with photobiomodulation, we’re creating tools designed to fit naturally into an intentional performance and recovery routine.

CHAPTER 05 · THE APEXA PHILOSOPHY
CHAPTER 05 · THE APEXA PHILOSOPHY
Performance Begins with Recovery.
Performance Begins with Recovery.
Photobiomodulation is where Apexa begins, but it was never intended to define where the brand ends.
The larger vision is to build a considered ecosystem of performance and recovery tools — selected not simply because they are new or trending, but because they can serve a meaningful role within an intentional routine.
I don’t believe better wellness means doing everything, every day.
I believe in understanding the purpose of the tools we use.
Different tools.
Different moments.
Different purposes.
The goal is to know what belongs in your routine and why.
That philosophy became Apexa.
A recovery and performance brand built around the belief that sustainable performance isn't only about how hard you push—it's also about how deliberately you recover.

Built for the Long Game.
Built for the Long Game.
Apexa is an extension of how I choose to live — to work, train, travel, explore and keep learning while becoming more intentional about what allows me to keep doing those things.
Because the goal was never simply to perform more.
It’s to build a life that allows us to keep performing for longer.

Founder, Apexa
